Stephen Groner is the founder of S. Groner Associates, Inc. (SGA) a community relations and social marketing firm. The firm is an eclectic mix of communication professionals and technical staff that help local governments, private companies, and non-profits bridge the communications gap with their stakeholders in the community. SGA develops outreach programs that combine traditional outreach, media relations and web based communication techniques to engage stakeholders to work with clients to address key community issues regarding the environment, health, and economic redevelopment. Prior to starting SGA, Stephen worked on environmental issues for the County of Los Angeles addressing regional water quality and waste management issues.
Stephen is also involved with several non-profit environmental organizations including Heal the Bay, the Malibu Foundation for Environmental Education, and the Earth Resource Foundation. Stephen is an active member of the Orange County chapter of the Entrepreneurs Organization an international peer to peer learning network of business founders that have grown their businesses to over a million dollars in annual revenue.
Stephen has a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and is a California Registered Civil Engineer.
