Rob Biniaz

Rob Biniaz was a founding executive of Universal Interactive Studios, the video game division of MCA/Universal Studios, where he served as Executive Vice President and then Chairman. Prior to that he was Senior Vice President, Business Development of the MCA Music Entertainment Group and before that Executive Vice President of MCA Concerts. He came to MCA/Universal from CBS Records (now Sony Records) where he was Vice President of Business Affairs, West Coast. He began his career in downtown Los Angeles as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Criminal Division. The son of a teacher, Rob has had a long-time interest in education reform and charter schools. In 2001-02 he was the Los Angeles regional coordinator for CANEC, the precursor to the California Charter Schools Association. He joined LASVP as a partner in September 2008. Rob is a graduate of Yale University and Stanford Law School. |
