Ali is a business strategist and advisor to executives in the consumer retail and media industries. Her experience includes 10 years at Microsoft, where she launched and managed consumer internet businesses around the world, providing guidance and oversight of marketing, product planning, business development and strategy. She also spent a number of years in management consulting at Bain and McKinsey, advising Fortune 500 clients on business strategy and performance improvement. Most recently, she was an Executive Recruiter with Egon Zehnder International, supporting consumer media and retail clients. She now consults to these clients while devoting a significant portion of her time to sharing her business skills to help nonprofits achieve their missions.
