Keith Kegley is a technology entrepreneur and philanthropist. He joined Social Venture Partners soon after it was founded in Seattle in 1997 and has been an active partner in the organization in Seattle and now in Los Angeles. Keith was most recently a Vice President at Spot Runner, a local technology startup.  He was previously was CEO of Slingshot Communications and worked for Microsoft for 15 years.

Keith has served on a variety of non-profit boards in the environmental and social justice arenas. These efforts have ranged from community outreach and development groups to policy and advocacy work at the state and federal level. Keith has two passions that match with SVP’s mission; developing the capacity of non-profits to fulfill on their missions and educating and training partners to be effective community leaders and confident philanthropists.
