In an effort to support social entrepreneurs tackling some of this city’s toughest problems, and to contribute to the innovative, vibrant culture in the Los Angeles area, Los Angeles Social Venture Partners (LASVP), the Social Enterprise Institute (SEI), and the University of Southern California are collaborating to produce the second annual Social Innovation Fast Pitch. The 2008 program was a big success, and a tremendous learning opportunity not only for the nonprofits involved, but also for the many volunteer coaches, mentors and judges who helped make it happen.
